Megan is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years’ experience as a counsellor and 8 years as a clinical therapist, supporting adults and couples through trauma recovery, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her approach is relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, drawing on modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and somatic awareness.
Megan has practised across both the U.S. and Australia and brings a deep understanding of identity, belonging, and cultural transitions. She also has experience supporting individuals engaged in recovery frameworks. At Thrive Wellness and Consulting, Megan offers a steady and practical space for clients to strengthen their wellbeing, develop strategies for change, and move towards meaningful personal goals. She is committed tomeeting people where they are and working collaboratively at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. Megan enjoys Haiku poetry, photography and yoga.
